Hello There! My name is Laure, pronounced as if it were "Laura." I'm eighteen years young, a twin, and student transitioning between high school and college. I'm an egoist, atheist, and capitalist.

I enjoy reading (Ayn Rand and Dostoevsky's works are among my favorites), writing, and occasionally watching anime and television. I am addicted to PostCrossing.com and Livejournal; I LOATHE Myspace.

I have a wide range of music interests--starting at Yann Tiersen and sliding all the way to Gorillaz. Belle & Sebastian, the Dandy Warhols, Beck, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Franz Ferdinand, Architecture in Helsinki, Camera Obscura, GO!GO!7188, Metric, Judy & Mary, and YUKI are among many others. I'm not picky when it comes to genre or labels.
